Sawadee = Hello,
'Khap' is spoken by men and 'Kha' by women, these words are repeated after every phrase and are the correct and polite way of speaking. They are also sometimes used to say 'yes'.
Sabai dee= good or well
Mai = no?
Sabai dee mai = you are well, no?
